Mr. Kwabena Osei-Ababio is a perceptive business executive with enormous experience in managing and motivating people to achieve organisational set targets people and with fourteen (14) years’ experience at senior management level in over three (3) financial institutions. He has built his corporate leadership credentials in managing people in these financial institutions.
Corporate Leadership Credentials and Work Experience
Mr. Osei-Ababio is currently the Chief Executive Officer of BI Micro Finance Company, a company he co-founded where he is providing strategic leadership in managing people to achieve key performance indicators of the business.
Prior to co-founding BI Micro Finance Company, he worked with Zenith Bank Ghana Limited as a Manager at its Spintex Road Branch in Accra. He’s credited with building team cohesion with subtle change management strategies that transformed the fortunes of the Branch from its loss position to the biggest and most profitable in the Bank and within its catchment area by 2012.
In 2009 he set up the East Legon Branch of Zenith Bank and served as a branch manager where he led his team to attain break-even within two months of operation, a major feat in the industry. The Branch has since maintained a deposit mix of 90:10 and is ranked as one of the most efficient in the group.
Mr. Osei-Ababio worked with Unique Trust Financial Serv. Ltd. In various capacities and in various branches from 2003. He is credited with supervising the implementation of FLEAP with data restructuring and recommendations that realigned credit operations into a formidable shape and paved the way for the successful implementation of the E-Plan product, which is a slight modification of the FLEAP model, and achieve break-even five months earlier than planned.
